SAINT-NAZAIRE, FRANCE (June 19th, 2023), Atlantique Offshore Energy, Chantiers de l’Atlantique’s Business Unit dedicated to Marine Energy has been selected by RWE as preferred supplier to execute Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning of the Electrical Offshore Substations required for two offshore wind farms in the German North Sea, called Nordseecluster A . Installation at sea is expected in 2026.

This contract includes two substations, one of 435 MW and one of 225 MW, with their respective foundations.

These two substations will collect, transform and inject into the grid via the HVDC converter DolWin 6, the electricity generated by the offshore wind turbines.

This contract will be an important sign of credit from the market of the offshore wind industry for Atlantique Offshore Energy.
