RCI Utopia of the Seas Oasis Class Ships, built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique
· Utopia of the Seas is the 6th ship in the Oasis class and the 4th built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique.
· It will be the first ship in the Oasis class to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG).
· Unlike other ships in this class, Utopia of the Seas will not be offering week-long cruises, but short stays of 3 or 4 days. The aim is to experience a “revolutionary weekend” on board the ship.
· It has 40 coffees shops and restaurants, 5 swimming pools, 7 whirlpools and offers more than 20 types of accommodation, including the new Solarium suites offering panoramic ocean views.
· The pool deck has been redesigned: the Lime & Coconut bar has been enlarged and now has a floor. New areas have been created, including the Vue Bar, a new Food Truck and an expanded Sprinkles area offering a wider variety of ice creams.
· Passengers will be able to enjoy the most immersive culinary experience on board Utopia of the Seas. They will be able to board a locomotive for a unique culinary tour and a journey through the golden age of train travel.
· The ship has 18 decks, , over 2,800 cabins and a gross tonnage of 237,000 tons.
