This Wednesday November 13th, Laurent Castaing, Chantiers de l’Atlantique General Manager inaugurated the “Ecole Chantiers de l’Atlantique”, an internal school dedicated to training future steel carpenters, welders and pipe fitters.

The current job markets on these trades being strained, the aim of this school is to appeal new talents and to make the company know-hows durable. It is dimensioned to train 50 trainees a year with a particular focus on practice as 80% of the apprenticeship is made directly on workshops.
